DeDe Nichols, Partner
DeDe has provided senior housing and long-term care owners and operators financial, consulting, and reimbursement services throughout her entire career. She partners with clients to assist with financial reporting, compliance, regulatory and reimbursement needs. DeDe’s reimbursement expertise spans multiple states throughout the United States.
While working with a regional accounting firm, she attended Darton College and graduated in 1994 with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. She then transferred to Georgia Southwestern State University, graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a concentration in accounting and joined the professional staff. DeDe joined another regional accounting firm and worked her way up the ranks to Shareholder, building relationships not only with the clients, but also the State and National Healthcare Associations, as well as other consultants and vendors in the long-term care community. DeDe enjoys providing training on Medicare, the nuances of each state’s Medicaid reimbursement programs and how these have an impact on the financial viability of a particular entity.
DeDe is an Associate member of multiple state and national health care associations, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants (GSCPA).
Marty Brew, Partner
Marty has worked in the seniors housing & care industry as a senior financial executive and consultant since 2007. He has real world experience working on financial, reimbursement, and regulatory matters with skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, along with hospice and therapy companies.
He works with organizations on regulatory & compliance; financial & accounting; reimbursement and business transition. Previously he was a Chief Financial Officer with a company that owned and operated skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and Vice President Finance for a private investment management firm that invests in the senior housing & care industry. Earlier in his career he held finance and accounting positions with companies in the lodging and hospitality industry. He started his career as an auditor with KPMG, one of the Big 4 public accounting firms.
He has been a CPA for over thirty years, and is a member of the AICPA and the GSCPA.
He graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science in Business.
